Why Outdoormap Greenland?
It is near impossible to find an outdoor map for Greenland that works without an internet connection. When visiting the great outdoors in Greenland, internet connectivity for mobile phone is practically non-existent.
Many travellers fall back to well-known outdoor map apps. Whilst these apps support locally stored (i.e. onboard on the phone) map data they suffer shortcomings. For example, map data is hard to find for Greenland and can be expensive. And they tend to lack elevation data, hill shading and contour lines, essential map information when travelling a rugged and mountainous landscape.
How does it work?
You will need to install the Cartograph.eu app which works on iOS, Android, Mac and Windows. They charge a low monthly fee or a very reasonable lifetime fee to enable “Pro” features which allow the use of our Greenland outdoor map.
